Sacramento Kings Preview
by Dan Utley Fantasy Redzone.com
The Sacramento Kings look like they have made the right transactions in the offseason. Small Forward Corliss Williamson was dealt to Toronto for guard Doug Christie. This looks to be a good move for Sac, Christie fits the team more with his outside shooting ablity, where as Willliamson is more of a postup type player, which is not needed with Divac and Webber. It was important that they kept their energetic spark plugs on the bench. They were able to resign Predrag Stojakovic, Jon Berry and Scot Pollard. Really the only flaw that has happend is that departure of Tony Delk, who was a big boost pushing LA to a game 5 in last years 1st round play off. However they aquire Minnesota Timberwolve Bobby Jackson to help fill the whole with Darrick Martin.
Though the Kings are a much improved team who like to show off their talent, they may not me strong enough to compeate with the Size of Shaq, or the incredible depth of the Blazers. But do look for a great season as a seed somewhere as high as 3 or 4.
