Mr. Controversy......The Black Hawks hit the ice and everyone else is under it this week.

THE BLUE JACKETS WERE DOING GREAT IN THEIR NHL DEBUT --- FOR THE 1st PERIOD

" We were very excited but even more disappointed that we
didn't win the game for the fans,"said columbus coach Dave King. " After
scoring the third goal , it felt like we had won the Stanley Cup."
Well guess what Dave ? You lost . So sorry but the Blackhawks had
you for dinner. For all of the fans from Columbus, better chance next
year(whatever).
Rookie Retro Von Arx and (The Man) Tony Amonte each scored 2 goals
and gave Alpo Suhonen his first NHL win. As i said last week it was a waste
of time for the Hawks having to go to Columbus but oh well.
Now that the girls of Columbus are done , let's move to bigger and
better things like the Redwings that are coming to town. Mr. Controversy
will be there so be ready for a good report on Friday.

Can the XFL defeat the NFL?

by: Brian Sizemore
Fantasy Redzone.com
The XFL season is almost here and I wonder if the NFL is shaking. I know i would be. More celebrating, hard hitting, trash talking all that has made Vince McMahan rich. Why won't it make him rich in football. We all love football, we crave football, so why not make a wwf version of football. I know i will not miss a game. According to an XFL report, John Madden said that with Vince McMahon running the whole operation, the XFL would surely do well because he (Vince) is a very smart business man. Furthermore he told the announcer that there are a ton of people who watch the WWF (22 million as we fans know), and that those people will be the ones who support and drive the XFL forward.
Even legends of the game are saying that this league is going to be successful. There are alot of people in the front office of the XFL that is smart and they know how to make this league successful. They even have the "Nitro Girls" of cheerleading. This is going to be the biggest thing to hit television since the Rock came into wrestling. It will be big, better yet this league will be huge. I am already a Memphis Maniax fan and the season hasn't even started yet.
So if I were the NFL, let Terrell Owens do his dances because after January ratings may go down. Hopefully not because I want to continue a job in fantasy football but XFL will put a strain on popularity of the NFL.
I have to say thank you to Vince McMahan because I have always wanted to see a football league that is tougher and talks tougher than the NFL. I can't wait to see what happens.......
